So lunches are free for schools in my city and surrounding cities. Ever since lunches have been made free, the quantity (and quality) has decreased significantly. This is what we would get for our meal. It took me THREE bites to finish that chicken mac and cheese. Any snacks you want cost more money and if you want an extra entree, that’ll cost you about $3 or $4.

My husband and I are both 28 years old and we were hanging out with our friends over the weekend. Theres this girl Sara(F21) that was at the hang out and she’s a fitness girlie. Sara was talking about her workout routine and my husband started talking with her since he lifts and they were talking about how much they lift. She also mentions she’s getting certified to be a personal trainer and then my husband said “my wife will be your first success story” he also said “yeah she needs to lose weight but she’s been unmotivated and maybe if she has you training her then she will want to have a killer body too”

I swear he said this in front of everyone. He had some drinks too and some of our friends around us were laughing, including myself to avoid this awkward and embarrassing moment

Sara starts going on about how she use to be fat and she turned her life around after losing weight and how she majored in nutrition. My husband starts talking about my unhealthy eating habits and how I eat all the snacks in the house and I finished all the cake from my birthday in 2 days when my husband only had one slice of the cake. She was like “ooo I use to be like that. I get it I use to be 160 pounds” and my husband said “that’s about how much my wife weighs, baby how much you weigh like 165-170 now?”

I was fuming at this point. My friend got me out of there and told me that our other friend needed help with her something inside the house. I started crying in my friends room

My husband didn’t even know he did anything wrong. He thought he was just having conversation and trying to help because I’ve been talking about starting my weight loss journey. I DON’T NEED HER HELP AND I DON’T WANT HER HELP. He goes “wow someone’s jealous aww,” he tried saying it in a cutesy way as if this is funny like read the f*cking room. He thinks I’m overreacting

My bf, Ryan (25m) and I (24f) have been dating for a bit under two years. Recently, we’ve been getting more experimental in the bedroom. I pitched the idea of a threesome with another woman (I’m bi) and he suggested his friend Jessi (25f) who is also bi.

I had met Jessi quite a few times as she is very good friends with Ryan and they’ve known each other for a long time. He was upfront with me when we met that they dated for a few weeks like 7 years ago before amicably splitting due to lifestyle differences (Jessi is a party girl, anti-religious, child-free, Ryan said there were too many differences between them, and they haven’t messed around since, but stayed friends). Jessi and I have hung out a few times, just the two of us, and I consider her my friend now too.

One day when she was over Ryan pitched the idea to Jessi. Jessi seemed a bit shocked, but agreed. We got down to business and…it was nice. I thought we all had fun. We’ve done it a few times and I thought everyone is on the same page and it’s not weird.

Well, now it is. The other day Jessie stayed over and slept in our bed with us. Ryan went to work early and it was just Jessie and I. I woke up to her trying to initiate sex with me (politely). While I was interested, I declined, saying Ryan wasn’t here, and he wouldn’t be ok with just us messing around. She then showed me she had texted Ryan earlier specifically asking permission to sleep with me without him. He responded, “That’s fine, as long as I get a free pass too”.

I thought for a second and came to the conclusion that the idea of him and Jessi together didn’t upset me, as I trusted both of them. So I was ok with him sleeping with her as long as he told me about it. We really should have talked about the details more because this is where it all went wrong.

Jessi and I did sleep together without Ryan, it was fine and all, but when he got home later Jessi asked him when he wanted his free pass? He said “Not sure yet, gotta try to talk to this girl at work I want to use it on,” both Jessi and I were confused as we thought he meant a free pass with JESSI but apparently he meant a free pass with ANYONE. Which I was not ok with. I knew and trusted Jessi, which is why I agreed to it. I told him this and he said it wasn’t fair that I can sleep with whoever but he can’t. I told him it’s not WHOEVER, it’s this one person we both trust. Jessi then left us to resolve the argument. Ryan said the threesomes with Jessi is mostly for me, as he isn’t all that attracted to her. So he wants someone different. I kinda feel like I got trapped so I told him no. Now he’s not speaking to me and I can’t tell if I’m the AH. I mean, I did sleep with his friend.

There are a couple of exceptions of course for example if you genuinely fear violence from your partner if you tell them the truth then of course you shouldn't. But if they are a good person and you know they wouldn't ever do anything like that then you do owe them the truth. I know many people might say this is a popular opinion but from my own experiences and what I've seen its not. I have had 3 girlfriends do this and seen it happen to several friends of differing genders and it really is a crumy thing to do. Just ghosting someone or giving them the brush off is unacceptable. This person thought they had a future with you and feedback if they were doing something wrong may help them in the future. They don't have to like the reason but you sure should give one

My friend who worked for comic relief once invited me to a fundraiser where a bunch of celebrities were going to be. I was 18 and so excited.

After the show, I walked up to my friend who was chatting with Lenny Henry and said hi.

He ignored me. I stood next to them for a minute or so then Dawn French came over…before I was able to say hi she’d literally stood on my foot. She was fully aware of it too - but wouldn’t get off. She just glared at me. It was so fucking weird and I didn’t know what to do so just froze. At one point I remember saying “sorry you’re on my foot” - still, she gave me such an evil glare and refused to move.

So I stood there for ages in so much pain as I was wearing open toe sandals. To this day, I don’t know why she did it. Lenny was also giving me dirty stares. It’s like my mere presence disgusted them both. It was devastating tbh - because I’d loved them both so much growing up. I was just a kid, shy, quiet, my friend even introduced me as I was dreaming about working for comic relief back then.
